Looking to boost your career with hands-on skills that employers value? The Conduct Telescopic Materials Handler Operations (RIIHAN309F) course is your gateway to mastering one of the most versatile machines used across construction, agriculture, and logistics.
This nationally recognised training equips you with the expertise to operate telehandlers safely and efficiently, ensuring you’re workplace ready from day one.
The RIIHAN309F – Conduct telescopic materials handler operations unit provides workers with the skills and knowledge to safely operate a telescopic materials handler—commonly known as a telehandler—in a range of site and construction environments.
This nationally recognised training is suitable for operators using telehandlers with fixed or integrated attachments, such as forks, buckets or work platforms, where a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) is not required.
Training is delivered face-to-face at our Belmont or Naval Base facility, with hands-on access to telehandler equipment, or onsite for employer groups with suitable machinery.
If your telehandler is fitted with a boom-type work platform, non-integrated lifting gear, or requires slinging or load direction, you may also need a High Risk Work Licence (e.g. CN or DG class).
Whether you’re starting a new role or upskilling for better opportunities, this course combines practical training with real-world applications to build your confidence and competence. Delivered by experienced trainers, you’ll learn to handle, manoeuvre, and maintain telehandlers while meeting Australian workplace safety standards.
